Star Crossed Pictures was formed in 2001 by Stephen Palgon during the production of the documentary Star Crossed, The Shakespearean Tragedy of Darryl Strawberry and Dwight Gooden. The documentary was produced independently and then sold to and aired on ESPN. Since that time Star Crossed Pictures has continued to produce work for a wide variety of networks and develop relationships with inspiring collaborators who have helped bring our projects to life. Over the past year, Star Crossed Pictures produced The Ones, a series for the NFL Network on the quarterbacks taken with the #1 draft pick, PAC 12 Classics, a 12 episode series for the launch of the Pac 12 Network, the DVD Road to Victory for NHL Productions about the 1994 Stanley Cup Champion Rangers, as well as the American Family Insurance Go Get Your Dream Challenge with Kathy Ireland, and handled post production on the Royal Carribean Deckathalon. The company has produced branded webisodes in partnership with Mindshare Entertainment including the business reality competition series, Second Chance for Sprint. In 2007 Star Crossed Pictures served as the series producer for the acclaimed series 50 Greatest Moments at Madison Square Garden which won 12 New York Emmy awards. Also for Madison Square Garden, Star Crossed Pictures has produced the documentaries: Spring of 94, Mecca of Boxing, Concert for New York Remembered, Concert for Katrina Remembered, and Lapchick and Sweetwater.
